I had wrapped my fingers around Go in the past and always wanted to do something with it. Running across many CLI tools and commands in my day-2-day business, I thought I’d give writing my own CLI tool a try: github.com/worp1900/worp
With CLI: Command Line Programming with Go by Cory Lanou as a basis, I am currently working my way through understanding commandline interaction with Go and getting my github commit-history a boost at the same time.
I will keep this article updates as I float along.
To everyone reading this and checking out the utility: I fully understand that one can do most/all of what I will be doing simply using bash and aliases. But as this is a handy Go course for me, I will do it this way.
